Creatures, Crimes & Creativity Con 2021

I am excited to announce that I will be attending the Creatures, Crimes & Creativity Conference in Baltimore this September. The event is being held the 10-12th, and you can learn more at their website.

C3 Con gathers readers and writers of genre fiction (mystery, suspense, thriller, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and paranormal) to meet in an informal atmosphere, have fun, connect, and learn more about writing, the authors and their books. There will be panels on the craft and business of writing as well as panels tailored to engage and entertain fans.  Meals are included with registration (dinner Friday, 3 meals Saturday and Sunday breakfast), and readers dine side-by-side with writers. Come enjoy keynote addresses, author interviews and an onsite bookstore, as well as two giant book signings and readings, which are open to the public. Sponsors include the Mystery Writers of America, and over fifty published authors will be attending the event.

Keynote guests include:

Emmy winner and nationally bestselling author of 11 thrillers, Hank Phillippi Ryan.

#1 New York Times and international bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon,  who has become one of the most popular and influential authors in the world, placing more than 80 novels on the New York Times list and more than 70 million books into print worldwide.

Author James Grady, whose first novel, Six Days of the Condor, was made into a classic Robert Redford movie.

Novelist Kathleen Barber, whose first novel, Truth Be Told (originally published as Are You Sleeping), has been adapted as a series for Apple TV+ by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine media company.

I look forward to participating in some panels and getting to know more of my colleagues and, most importantly, readers!

Until Next Time,

          J.R.
